Sue has been with the Rekai Centres since October 2008 holding a variety of positions. Since December 2014, Sue has held the position of Acting Executive Director of Wellesley Central Place as well as fulfilling her responsibilities as Executive Director for Capital Redevelopment. In this new role, Suewill be responsible to the Board for corporate leadership and direction of the Wellesley Central Place and Sherbourne Place. She will also continue to pursue the new building project in downtown Toronto and help to establish links with other community service providers. Sue has over 25 years experience in working with all levels of government, community organizations, land development, the media and in fundraising. Sue holds an Honours BA in Public Administration from the University of Toronto as well as a Diploma in Fundraising from Humber College. She also sits on Governing Bodies at the University of Toronto and as a City appointee on the Toronto Public Library Board.
Colette Cameron, RN, BA (Hon), MSW, GNC(c).
Executive Director, Rekai Centre at Sherbourne Place
Colette has been the Executive Director of the Rekai Centre at Sherbourne Place since February 2016. Colette has over 30 years of health care experience, having held positions as an ER nurse, Renal Social Worker, Executive Director of a Family Health Team and most recently as a Director in Long Term Care. Colette is registered with both the College of Nurses of Ontario and the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Colette holds a Diploma of Nursing from Georgian College, an Honours BA in Gerontology from Laurentian University and a Master of Social Work with a specialty in Gerontology from the University of Toronto.
